Paul Evans

I worked with Paul for several years. I have a great respect for him and his work. Paul is a passionate educator. He has always been very keen to help students prosper and support them in developing their unique talents and interests

I am driven by a passion for excellence in all my endeavours, and whether in industry training or academia, a pragmatic desire to ‘get things done’.

My interests include people development, change management, and hospitality management training.

In addition to my work as the Chair of the London region of the Institute of Hospitality, I am also a volunteer business mentor, and external examiner, have served as an awarding body academic council member, acted as an independent apprenticeship assessor for the CMI and am currently Vice President of the Reunion des Gastronomes.

I also advise on the development and content of Hospitality and Higher Education qualifications.

I particularly admire his determination to care about the entire student’s journey, not just the final result. I believe Paul is truly educating students for life, not simply to pass an exam or to get a degree, which I consider a rare quality…
